The Heart of Kings
Kings Mills is a community just off interstate I-71 and next to Mason Ohio in Deerfield Township. Once an area of farms and an abandoned factory, today Kings Mills is a vibrant community of residents, amusements, and growth. Originally Kings Mills was settled on the western shores of the scenic Little Miami river by Ahimaaz King who was the founder of one of the largest manufacturing establishments of its kind in the US-the King Powder Company, and the Peters Cartridge Company. Mr. King built a complete village, Kings Mill, for his workers, with homes and schools for their families. During its period of operation, the company experienced several major explosions and large fires. Shut down for over 90 years and abandoned for over 50 the property and buildings listed are now listed on the national register of historic places and have been revitalized to house 128 loft apartments, office space and restaurants. Recently the Cartridge Brewing Company opened its doors on the property.
Kings Mills gives you the access and the convenience to so much: parks, sports, shopping, restaurants, and close to two big cities. It's a perfect mix of history, scenic landscapes and a county feel yet close to modern amenities- a great place to call home.
